Our overall policy is to provide the highest quality work with high quality materials ensuring that we walk away from every job proud of what we've accomplished knowing you will enjoy your landscape for a very long time. We are not in the business to get as much work as possible to work as fast as possible. We are here to provide highly detailed service taking our time, every time, to get the job done right.
Quality Philosophy
Experience has taught us that taking our time and using high quality materials costs less down the road. When a patio is designed, built and maintained properly, with high quality materials the regular maintenance costs far less and should never need repairs. With proper design and proper plant selection your landscape will mature properly and last a lifetime. We never rush to accomplish a task. We consider ourselves craftsmen creating a landscape that will be enjoyed for many years and blend in naturally to its surroundings as it ages. Whether its new landscape plantings, a new retaining wall, a new patio or a beautifully maintained lawn and landscape. We want to leave you with an awesome place to get away from the daily grind and relax with family and friends. We take great pride in the fact that we are able to help change the face of our communities that we work and live in every day. Every job we do we will drive by in daily life and be able to tell the people in our personal lives that we did that!
Quality People
LEXIS instills a passion for quality in every member of our team, and we make it easy for our technicians to provide this quality with systems and processes to support them at every level. We have different guys that specialize in different areas of landscape. Bush trimming, mowing, big property maintenance, small property maintenance, fertilizer, irrigation and landscape construction. We search for every possible certification available and take our crews to every seminar possible. All of our crew leaders have fertilizer licenses obtained through classes provided by the University of Illinois extension program. Some specialize in turf, some in ornamentals, etc. Every guy is given something to take ownership of investing them in every job we do.
Quality Control Process
We have weekly meetings and site visits to ensure everything is going as planned. We will discuss possible problems that may arise and trouble shoot them before they become an issue. If not we determine the issues and corrections needed and get things back on the right path. We are never in a hurry. We are there to get the job done correctly each and every time. For every problem there is a solution.
Leadership and Pride in Ownership
Every level of our leadership sets the tone for quality by maintaining a regular schedule of site walk-throughs. Our field supervisors use standardized check sheets and site reports to ensure proactive maintenance and communication with their clients. Our field force takes pride in ownership of each job and is continuously trained to focus on the details that make a site worthy to be called a LEXIS site.
Proactive Communications
We believe it is our job to anticipate the needs of our customers and to ensure that we communicate with them on a regular and frequent basis., so that issues are addressed long before they can become problems. We encourage periodic site walk-throughs with senior management to discuss the long-term vision for the site and to ensure we are operating with integrity with the overall goals of our client's. We want to create lifetime relationships with each and every customer in our community.
